West End Stories 007 | Audrey

“I came to know the Lord when I was 8. I grew up in a great Christian home, but it took me a long time to truly understand what it means to surrender my life to Christ. I tried to live a double life, living for God while trying to be like the world. It wasn’t until I went to college that I really grabbed onto my faith and began to learn how to lay down my life for the will of God.
I came to West End a few years ago with a friend and was terrified. I didn’t really know how to share my faith nor God’s love with anyone. West End has really taught me to be outspoken about my faith in every day life. This experience has grown my heart for the homeless.
I’ve learned that listening and communicating with people is sometimes the best and easiest way to show God’s love. At the end of the day, God extends the same love to all people, and I love getting to be a part of that.” West End Stories | Audrey
