"Drug addiction is like a disease. It's not something you can just 'will power' your way out of. You have to go through the steps of cleaning your past.

I love to work, but when I am struggling with the addiction I can't work. All I can think about is the drug. Once I get clean and sober, I go to church. That's were I find my strength. I have a program and a sponsor that I can call when I am struggling, but, if they fall through, my God is there to catch me. He is my strength. I have God on one side and AA on the other side holding me up and keeping me sober."
